King & King filed an appeal for the client and was able to prove the elements necessary to reach a satisfactory resolution which included an award to the client of her monthly disability retirement dating back to the client’s last day of work. Settled an overtime wage claim case for a client brought by the Department of Labor. PERSONAL INJURY Recently received a large settlement for a client that tripped on some boxes in a grocery store. Satisfactorily settled client’s case where the client and her dog were attacked by another’s dog. As a result of the attack the client suffered injuries including a torn rotator cuff. Client received a five figure settlement. Satisfactorily settled a case for a client who was rear-ended by another vehicle.
